02 — How we compare

Per-release pricing, without the retainer.

Incumbent wire services price most releases in the high hundreds of dollars and often layer agency retainers on top. Pitchwire is one flat fee per release, with AI editorial review and an agentic API bundled in. Competitor numbers below are approximate and drawn from publicly cited rate cards; check each vendor for current pricing.

03 — Transparency

What's included in the price, and what isn't.

We'd rather you read this list now than find out after you file. If any of the 'not included' items are dealbreakers, let us know and we'll talk about whether Enterprise makes sense.

05 — Frequent questions

What else is hiding in the fine print?

Is the editorial review human or AI?
AI. Every release runs through an AI editorial pipeline that performs an AP-style polish pass, returns a structured editorial score (0-100), and flags specific issues with severity and suggestion. You always see the result and approve before anything is published or distributed. We don't have a human editorial staff today.
Can I cancel a release after I've paid?
Yes, up to the moment we mark a release as "published" or distributed. After publication and distribution, your release is live on your newsroom and queued with our wire partner — at that point we can edit but not retract. Refunds before publication are full; after, talk to support@pitchwire.ai.
Do you guarantee placement at specific publications?
No, and you should be suspicious of anyone who does. Wire syndication gets your release in front of AP News, Google News, and the broader EIN Presswire outlet network; individual publications make their own editorial decisions.
Is there a free trial?
There's a free AI editorial preview that gives you a polished headline, an improved lede, and three quick wins for any draft, before you pay. Full publication and wire distribution require a paid release because of the wire-partner pass-through cost.
Can my PR agency use Pitchwire on my behalf?
Yes. Agencies can hold their own login, manage releases, and pay per release. There is no separate "agency tier" — same prices, same product. SSO and audit logging are roadmap items.
How fast does my release reach the wire?
Speed is tier-dependent and ultimately determined by our wire partner's queue plus AP/Google News indexing time, neither of which we control directly. Premium gets a priority editorial pass; published wire-partner SLAs apply to the rest of the path. We don't publish a fixed median because we don't have a representative customer base yet.
