Pitchwire Publishes Its Editorial Policy and Full Sub-Processor List
DALLAS, Texas, July 10, 2026 /Pitchwire/ — Pitchwire today announced that its editorial policy and a complete list of its technology sub-processors are published on its website, formalizing the standards every press release on the platform is held to.
The editorial policy, available at pitchwire.ai/editorial-policy, describes how releases are reviewed before distribution. Every submission receives an AP-style editorial pass and a structured score, with specific issues flagged by severity. Customers see the feedback and approve every change before anything publishes. The policy also states plainly what Pitchwire does not do: it does not guarantee media placement, it does not present paid distribution as earned coverage, and it does not publish releases that make claims their submitters cannot support.
The trust page, at pitchwire.ai/trust, lists every technology provider that processes customer data, covering authentication, payments, hosting, storage, monitoring and AI processing, along with the company's data retention practices and security contacts. AI processing is disclosed directly: draft content is processed by a large language model for editorial review, and no customer content is used to train models.
The company publishes both documents as a matter of policy rather than marketing. Wire services, search engines and news aggregators evaluate distribution platforms on editorial accountability, and Pitchwire's position is that the evaluation should be easy.
"Anyone deciding whether to trust a distribution platform should be able to read exactly how it reviews content and exactly who touches the data," said Nicolai Robles, founder of Pitchwire. "We wrote it down and put it on the site. That should be the baseline for this industry, not a differentiator."
Pitchwire distributes press releases at a flat per-release price, with AI-assisted editorial review and a branded newsroom included on every plan. Wire filing through the company's wire partner is available on every paid tier.
