Pitchwire Moves Editorial Feedback Ahead of Approval

DALLAS, Texas, July 10, 2026 /Pitchwire/ — Pitchwire today announced a redesign of its editorial review flow. Customers now see their release editorial score and specific feedback before they commit to publication, and a customer approval is final. The update is live for all accounts in the Pitchwire web application.

Previously, editorial review ran after a customer approved a release. A release could be held for revision after the customer had already committed a paid credit, and the feedback arrived too late to act on. Scores on otherwise similar releases could also vary from run to run, which made a hard pass-or-fail gate feel arbitrary to careful writers.

The redesigned flow runs the editorial check on the review screen instead. Customers read the score, the summary and the flagged issues, address them directly in the editor, and re-run the check as many times as they want at no charge. Approval happens when the customer is satisfied, and what the customer approves is what publishes.

The platform reserves intervention for one case. A critical compliance finding, such as an unsubstantiated claim presented as fact, places the release on hold with a written explanation and a free path to revise and resubmit. Style and formatting feedback never blocks a release the customer has approved.

Billing changed to match the flow. A paid release credit is consumed once per release rather than once per attempt, so a customer who revises after feedback resubmits at no additional cost. Pricing remains flat per release at 149, 249 or 799 dollars, with no subscription and no retainer.

"The old flow had the machine grading people after they had already committed, which is backwards," said Nicolai Robles, founder of Pitchwire. "The editor exists to make your release better before you approve it, not to overrule you after. And you should never pay twice because you took the feedback and improved your draft."

Editorial standards are published at pitchwire.ai/editorial-policy, and the review flow is available on every plan.
